The model must emit JSON — who wins, prompt or schema

The parse service died once or twice a week. The model put “Sure, as follows:” in front of the JSON and a “tell me if you want changes” after. The prompt already said output JSON only. Monday it still worked. After a model upgrade the greeting came back. What it emitted was a string. Looking like JSON is not an object a program can use.
