Where a pipeline job runs: a Docker container or the build machine

Each pipeline job can run in a Docker container the runner starts, or directly on the build machine. The two ways differ in where the tools come from, where the working directory is, whether each run starts clean, and what the machine must have. Match runner.mode, the labels, and how the runner was connected, and the job lands in the place you wanted.
