Will they train on your chats — read the terms, not the folklore

Debug day someone pasted .env into the window. The model hardcoded timeout; the key entered context. The group often swears “that vendor will never train on this”. The terms may not say that. Personal chat and the enterprise API can be two policies. Read the consumer page onto the API and you flip the wrong switch. Procurement thinks it opted out. The screenshot is last year’s.
