The unified test platform in Xiaocan Cloud’s AngusKit. One AngusScript YAML covers protocol, Web, mobile, LLM, and performance. Plans, cases, scripts, and reports share a console. Report fields can feed a release gate.
How do we choose versus Postman and MeterSphere?
Keep a desktop client if you only poke HTTP. Keep MeterSphere if plans and review already live there. Compare AngusTester when you need one engine, gate fields, and one login. If JMeter assets cannot move, keep JMeter.
Which scenarios can AngusScript / YAML cover?
Protocol, Web, mobile, LLM, and performance on one engine. HYBRID can mix step types in one file. Load tests set testType to PERFORMANCE—it is not a separate product.
Are protocol, Web, mobile, LLM, and performance separate products?
No. They are scenarios and plugins inside one AngusTester, not five products.
Are plans, cases, scripts, and reports on one console?
Yes, isolated by the current project. This version has no unauthenticated public share link.
How do test results enter a CI gate?
The pipeline reads pass rate, failed assertions, and expected versus actual; failure fails the job. Exit codes or chat screenshots are not a gate. Security four-state is a separate gate—do not mix it with script pass/fail.
What can MCP do in Cursor? Do writes need confirmation?
It can read plans, preview YAML, run on ONLINE nodes, and read failed assertions. Generating scripts, running, and filing defects need preview plus confirmationId. angus.mcp.enabled defaults off. Deleting projects is not in the tool list.
How are runners and devices managed?
Scripts dispatch to Agent nodes that must be ONLINE and reach the system under test. Web needs a browser runtime; mobile needs a registered device or Appium. Without a node, scripts stay queued.
Can we import API collections?
API debug supports OpenAPI/Swagger import and export (HTTP endpoints only). Script import includes YAML, HAR, and Postman; see the scripts chapter.
What is in the plugin market?
Console /plugins browses and enables protocol plugins such as angus-http. It may be absent from the default menu. It is not a third-party marketplace.
What should a two-week POC prove?
Prove one path: import or write one YAML, run protocol or API on an online node, and let the pipeline read failed assertions. A demo page or a local green run is not production. Apply on the contact page.
